DESCRIPTION:Our next grade day is Saturday 10th May at Walsall. \nWe will have swimmers attempting to pass either one or both figure and routine grades. Some to qualify for the National Combo Cup in July. Grade go from 1 to 5 and have 3 levels – Bronze\, Silver and Gold.

DESCRIPTION:The Midlands Artistic Swimming Leadership Group are pleased to announce 2 development days taking place over the next few months. These camps are aimed at grades 0-2\, for athletes 15 and under. \n\nSunday 23rd March – Hucknall Leisure Centre\nSunday 1st June – Walsall Leisure Centre\n\nEach camp will consist of a land training session followed by a pool session\, 1:00pm – 4:00pm. \nThe cost is £30 per camp\, per swimmer. \n Sign-Up survey

SUMMARY:East Midland Forum: Supporting Neuro-divergent Athletes in a Club Environment
DESCRIPTION:Swim England’s Head of Diversity and Inclusion\, Mike Hawkes\, will be leading a forum on supporting neuro-divergent athletes in the club environment. This will include discussion on managing challenging behaviour.  \nThis forum will be open to all but we would suggest it might be most relevant to Chairs\, Coaches and Welfare Officers. SUMMARY:Midlands Artistic Swimming Invitational Novice Competition 2025
DESCRIPTION:This is open to all swimmers who hold grad 0 to grade 2 for figures and grade 0 to grade 3 for routines (all division 1 teams). \nThis is a great competition to introduce swimmers to the world of competing with just a figure and combination event for each age group. 12u\, 8-10\, 13-15 and 15-18 for figures. The team age categories are the same as Age Groups – 12u\, 13-15\, 13-18\, 15u and 15+.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce the return of our para-swimming training sessions for the 2024-2025 season. \nThe sessions are designed to develop the skills of para-swimmers from the East and West Midlands\, providing expert coaching and an opportunity to be signed off for classification. The programme also supports our coaches in furthering their experience and knowledge in para-swimming\, bettering their delivery in their clubs and on the Swim England pathways. \n Dates: \n\nSunday 12th January\nSunday 16th March\nSunday 15th June\n\n Timings: \n\n11:00am Arrival\n11:30am Strength & Conditioning\n1:00pm Pool Session\n3:00pm Approx end\n\n Location: \n\nThe Queens Diamond Jubilee Centre\, Rugby.\n\n Cost: \n\n£45 for all 3 sessions (survey and payment due by 5th January 11:59pm)\n\n  Swimmer sign-up\n Eligibility criteria \nCoaches who wish to observe should email midlands@swimming.org for approval.
