Dive Into Change: Join Swim England West Midlands as our Administrator
This role is a home-based working role, with the option to work in person with the team one day per week. Ideally the candidate would be West Midlands based, but not necessary. The role is fixed term for 9 – 12 months and is part time; 21 hours per week. The role will require some attendance at events or meetings outside of usual core working hours (evenings/weekends).

Swim England West Midland Region is one of eight regions in England.
Regions form the middle of three tiers of national, regional and county swimming governance, each with specific areas of responsibility. The Region is managed at a strategic level by a Board of Directors, with the day-to-day responsibility for the aquatic disciplines lying with its volunteer managers, committees and working groups.
What you’ll be doing:
- Making waves developing our communication channels through our website, social medias and newsletter.
- Driving forward administrative support for our events and programmes and across all sports — from contracts and venue bookings to watertight reporting and monitoring systems.
- Providing administrative support to the Regional Management Board, specified groups and the wider regional team.
- Provide basic financial administration and upkeep, supporting the Regional Finance Director and wider regional team.
- Maintain and update regional databases, as well as making a splash with developing an annual calendar of workshops and education for our members.
About You
What we’re looking for:
- Self-motivated person with knowledge of administrative functions, programmes and basic financial experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you are a people person and find it easy to build and manage member relationships.
- Experience working in a busy and changeable environment, adaptability across work areas is key.
- Energy and enthusiasm
- A dynamic individual with a strong attention to detail.
Location: Home based with occasional Regional travel in the West Midlands
Salary: £22,931 – £28,661 per annum, pro rata
