Together Active is a newly-formed charitable organisation (formerly Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent) working across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. They exist to create active places and healthy lives through physical activity and sport. They are part of a national network of Active Partnerships, funded by Sport England and our local partners.
They are looking appoint two amazing people with values strongly aligned to their own:
Young People and Workforce Manager
The Young People and Workforce Manager will influence and support local agencies to ensure physical activity features strongly in their decision-making around children’s health, wellbeing & development. They will also drive quality and capacity within the local physical activity and sport workforce.
Programme Officer – Opening School Facilities
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project. The Programme Officer will support our Opening School Facilities Programme Manager to enable schools in our area to offer extra-curricular opportunities, including opening facilities in a COVID-19 secure manner. They will also support schools and community organisations to drive engagement through the use of our digital platform Active My Way and via open data.
