Inclusive Club Fund

Expressions of interest are now open for our Inclusive Club Fund! Set us as part of Inspire 2022, the fund aims to support clubs who wish to trial genuinely innovative ways to increase the inclusivity of their club. We want to encourage people from all backgrounds within the West Midlands to get into aquatics and address areas of underrepresentation within our sports.

Your chosen area of work may focus on water safety, learn to swim, a social club membership or something completely different! Priority will be given to projects that can evidence a clear commitment to partnership working and the long-term sustainability of any intervention.

Grants of either £2500 or £5000 can be applied for with applications consisting of a two-stage process. Specifically:

  • Completion of an Expression of Interest Form
  • A follow up meeting with Swim England and the West Midlands Regional team to discuss your idea.

To find out more we have created a brief video and a summary document. An additional webinar will also be available to all clubs who submit an expression of interest form.

Please submit any further questions to [email protected]

Applications will close on 31st March, 2024, we look forward to reading them!

Mike Hawkes, Swim England’s Head of Diversity and Inclusion, gives a detailed explanation of the Fund in the video below:
