Working hours: part-time 3 hours a week poolside

We are seeking a new part-time head swimming coach passionate about inclusive club swimming and not just winning competitions. The successful candidate must be able to motivate and inspire swimmers and assistant coaches as we continue building for the future.
Are you a coach who values a balanced work-life schedule? Then we could be the club for you. Our club focuses on weekday sessions with internal club champs and time trials, offering a unique opportunity to coach without the pressures of regular weekend competitions. We would love to take some of our swimmers to meets for experience, but focusing on meets and other competitions or leagues is not required.
Candidates must hold a Swim England Swimming Coach level 2 coaching award or equivalent. We will consider applications from holders of an Assistant swimming coach holder who is currently working towards swimming coach certification.
We offer an opportunity to mentor our Assistant coaches as they develop within the club and lead on key elements of the club’s future, in addition to delivering our pool sessions.
About us
We are a Swim-mark accredited club with over 100 members ranging from Swim England Learn to Swim level 7 and upwards. We have recently launched our new squad structure and training plan, which aims to support and develop swimmers to achieve their potential. We encourage the development of our athletes, with some moving to the next level with other local clubs.

Our club is financially sustainable and offers funded development support for its members.
