Assistant Coach – Level 2 at City of Hereford Swimming Club
City of Hereford Swimming Club (COHSC) is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the club through its next phase of progress. This is a great opportunity to work and develop within a well-established Swim21 accredited club in the heart of Herefordshire. The club operates across three sites – Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Leominster with approximately 250 members.
The club has active members across its performance pathway, competition squad, water polo and master’s sections. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for delivery swimming training and sets within the framework set out by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach will also be offered the opportunity of developing their own sets within the framework. The Assistant Coach will work together with our existing volunteer poolside staff to deliver an integrated programme across all pathways and sections of the club.
The role will be working for the Head Coach and alongside and with the full support of an enthusiastic executive committee. The role requires a Level 2 qualified coach; professional development is encouraged at all levels.
City of Hereford Swimming Club has developed a strong record of county, regional and national achievements. We compete in the National Arena Swimming League (West Midlands – Premier Division), Nuneaton League, Wyvern League & 4 Seasons. The role will suit someone who is developing technical expertise, is highly motivated and committed with an enthusiasm to make their mark at the club.
