Congratulations to all the Regional winners listed below, the Region would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to them for the hard work that they have put into the sport. We would like to also give a big thank you to all volunteers that work tirelessly across the Region in our clubs, and to those who were nominated for all the awards as well.
Innovation Awards
The Innovation Awards recognise creativity and innovation by individuals or groups, where complex, innovative or engaging activity ensured aquatic community was motivated and engaged during the challenging times. The Sport Innovation Award focuses on recognising the innovative approach taken to continue delivering technical and practical aspects of our sports within the restrictions imposed as a results of COVID-19. The Engagement Innovation Award recognises the creative non-sporting activities which were developed to ensure the continued wide member engagement despite the challenges of limited access to the water and face-to-face time.
Sport Innovation Award – Awarded to Robin Surgeoner, Orion SC
This Award recognises the innovative approach taken to ensure the technical aspect of the sport is delivered.
Engagement Innovation Award – Awarded to Hannah Secher, Rugby SC
This Award recognises the creative approach taken to engage our members across the aquatic community.
Inspirational Awards
Inspirational Awards recognise individuals who have gone above and beyond in engaging our members, made significant difference and kept motivations level up throughout the challenging months across all our disciplines. These individuals have inspired and engaged members of our aquatic community.
Inspirational Volunteer Award – Awarded to Ceri Tombs, Evesham SC
This Award recognises inspirational volunteers from the age of 18 and upwards.
Inspirational Young Volunteer Award – Awarded to Amy-Lee Jones, Dove Valley SC
This Award recognises inspirational volunteers from the age of 14 to 17.
Inspirational Club Coach/Teacher Award – Awarded to Luke Harris, Newport & District SC
This Award recognises an inspirational Coach or Teacher.
Inspirational Athlete Award – Awarded to Evie Bott, Stafford Apex SC
This Award recognises inspirational participants across all disciplines from the age of 12 and upwards.
