Performance Squad Swimming Coach
Shrewsbury Amateur Swimming Club (SASC), based in Shropshire is looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to become their Performance Squad Coach. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to coach all ages of swimmers and possess the ability to communicate effectively with swimmers, coaches and parents at an excellent level.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement the swimming/training program for your squad.
- Participate in co-developing the competitive calendar.
- Own swimmer development/pathway plan and goal setting for your squad.
- Oversee, support and develop assistant coaches/volunteers.
- Encourage and include young volunteers.
- Liaise and collaborate with other SASC squad coaches to ensure joined up progression of swimmers through the club squad structure.
- Ensure personal continuous development/training in-line with Swim England requirements.
