Chase Swimming Club is seeking an Assistant Head Swimming Coach

Chase Swimming Club is seeking an Assistant Head Swimming Coach to join their highly successful team.

Chase SC is a top Staffordshire Club with swimmers having a high profile at County, Regional and National levels. In addition, we compete in the Premier Divisions of Junior, County and National Arena Leagues.

Our squads range from Learn to Swim and Development through to Performance levels.

They are looking for an experienced, passionate swimming coach to work within their coaching programme, with particular responsibility for their junior and intermediate squads.

This position will be responsible for planning and delivering the complete junior programme with the support and direction of the Head Coach and access to a number of coaches and experienced volunteers to assist. They will also be responsible for our Development squad overseeing all aspects of its programme and smooth running. In addition, there will be times where they will need to cover our other squads due to coaches’ holidays or attendance at open meets.  The Junior programme has six swimming sessions and two land training sessions per week, including Saturday morning.

The candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership and technical skills with potential to become a future head coach.  They should have a proven track record of working with young competitive swimmers of all abilities, and an ambition to maximise their individual potentials.

Level 2 Swim England Coaching qualification is preferred as a minimum, plus previous experience of coaching swimmers in the age range 8 to 13.

The position is part-time to include attending league galas, open meets, County, Regional and National Championships when required.  Salary to be offered will be dependent on experience and qualification.
