Sportsystems is used by swimmingresults.org and Swim England

Swim England West Midlands Region has taken the decision to move to long course qualifying times for 2020, as the Midland Championships is swum LC. This aligns us with other Regions that have also moved to LC QT’s recently (Swim England East Midlands did this this year).

At the same time we have had to change some of the times as we had too many swimmers competing in the 50m events this year, which lead to safety concerns regarding the number of swimmers poolside. Some 50m events were converted to LC times (using the sports systems converter) and some were adjusted depending on the number of heats/swimmers in 2019 West Midland Regional Championships.
For the distance events we also converted times from SC to LC but have also adjusted the times to try and equalise the number of heats per distance/gender.
