Camp Hill Swimming Club is seeking an enthusiastic Head Swimming Coach with a desire to take the club forwards
Camp Hill is a small but established club who swim (pre Covid times and to return to) at Camp Hill school in King’s Heath, Birmingham.
The club are proud of their history and were founded by Gerry Thain MBE. Gerry Thain was not only dedicated to the club but also rose to be GB team manager at World Championships and the Seoul Olympics. The club is looking for a Head Coach who would like to work within a small club (circa 120 swimmers) and help the club strive forwards and enable their swimmers to be the best they can be.
There is a strong committee in place with up to date systems making for a smooth running of the club and much support for the coaching team.
This position is ideal for a coach looking to make the next move into a lead role and to take control, or to move from a voluntary role into a paid position. CHSC committee is fully committed to supporting CPD for this coach and the rest of the coaching team, and to help move the club forwards in this next exciting phase.
The role, and the running of the coaching team is open to be shaped by the successful applicant. This openness to change alongside the commitment to providing and aiding with CPD makes this an exciting step up for an experienced coach.
