Special Olympics Coventry require some help with their swimming group
- A swimming coach, level 1 or 2. Alternatively a Swimming teacher who wishes to gain coaching qualifications
- Anyone who is interested in swimming to assist in the water or on poolside to help athletes with mild physical disabilities.
The main requirements are enthusiasm and patience, someone who can help the athletes improve their swimming. Ideally candidates would have swimming qualifications, as above, or are working to get qualifications. Special Olympics can pay out of pocket expenses, and possibly assist in the cost of gaining coaching qualifications.
They meet at the Xcel centre, Mitchell Avenue, Coventry CV4 8DY on Sundays from 7 til 8PM and are hoping to get several volunteers to share the roles above.
