The Swim England West Midlands Regional Staff and Management Board are pleased to finally launch the much anticipated 4 year strategy, having been developing this since the end of 2022, ensuring consultation took place with key stakeholders and members throughout the last 18 months, identifying the key needs of our members and clubs and ensuring the strategy is reflective of that need. The Region has taken some time to ensure the strategy is aligned with Swim England Nationally and has completed a review and restructure of the staff team, to ensure the team in place is best positioned to support clubs in realising the objectives of the strategy . This document is underpinned by sound research through the club culture report, which will be released in due course. We thank our members and clubs for inputting into the development of this work and we look forward to working with you in the implementation phase and working collectively to improve aquatics and opportunities across the region.
