On Sunday we warmly welcomed Helen Weeks; Swim England – Sports Governance and Welfare Manager back to the West Midlands Region, alongside Claire Coleman; Swim England – Head of Development, to deliver a County Governance session with our 4 counties, plus the addition of the East Midlands Region and Derbyshire. We would like to thank Swim England staff and our county volunteers for attending and contributing to what was a really informative day, creating some great discussions and agreed ways of working together moving forward, together with some positive networking between counties. We look forward to working with the counties and Swim England on the next steps of this project and enhancing governance across all levels of our sports.
