Personal Specification:
Swim England Artistic Swimming Coach – or equivalent
Up to date Swim England DBS
Member of Swim England
Have attended Swim England Safeguarding training within the last 3 years
Experience of coaching swimmers for and at National Age Groups with success
Experience and competence of using Zoom/Excel/emails etc – essential for training
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Committed to work with, progress and develop group of swimmers over 6 month time frame
Knowledge and understand of the England Talent Pathway and the National Elite Pathway
Job Description:
To lead and coach a group of athletes selected by the Lead Coach and Assistant Coach (January to June)
To include 1 x Selection Event, 3 x full training days – focused on developing areas as informed by the Swim England Youth Squad training programme, as well as attendance at Regional Games.
To set testing, challenges and training focuses as informed by the Swim England Youth Squad training programme
To review testing, set goals and give feedback on testing
Provide feedback and report to the Midlands Artistic Swimming Leadership Group when requested – likely mid programme and then close of programme
Work towards and attend the Inter-Regional Competition in May/June 2027 with the squad
Remuneration: £25 per hour – to cover: 1 x Selection Day, 3 x full day training sessions plus attendance at 1 x all day Inter-Regional competition
Mileage also available for travel within Midlands Multi-Region – details to be discussed on application
Note – Selection Day has been provisionally booked for Saturday 12th December at Bilton Grange Prep School, Dunchurch

Experience of coaching swimmers minimally up to National Age Group Qualification
Experience and competence of using Zoom/Excel/emails etc – essential for training
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Committed to work with, progress and develop group of swimmers over 6 month time frame
Job Description:
To assist lead coach with a group of athletes selected by the Lead Coach and Assistant Coach (January to June)
