On Sunday 21st June clubs from across the Midlands went to use the facilities at Sandwell Aquatics centre for a regional Artistic Swimming development day.
43 swimmers ages 8-14 enjoyed a packed day of technical drills and artistic routines to Taylor Swift and Abba led by Coach Ross, Amy & Vikki.
Attendees received a 2 hour lyrical dance class specific to their age category from Claire and the team at CDC Dance. This was focused on improving artistry and expression within their performances.
The fun packed day was rounded off with Nigel and Tim, Diving coaches at Sandwell Diving Club, leading athletes through an Intro To Diving course. It was impressive to see athletes leaping in and embracing the high boards.
