British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships 2025
Adam, representing Great Britain and proudly swimming for Bromsgrove Swimming Club, shone brilliantly at the Down Syndrome Championships. He delivered an outstanding performance, achieving personal bests in all four strokes and astonishing spectators by shaving an incredible 10 seconds off his 50m backstroke time. His hard work and determination paid off as he claimed a well-deserved gold in the 25m Butterfly and a silver in the 25m Breaststroke. An exceptional achievement and a moment to be truly proud of.

Deaflympics Tokyo 2025
Charlotte Gower
Charlotte made a spectacular impact at the Deaflympics in Tokyo, returning home with an incredible seven medals. Team GB secured a total of 12 medals at the Games—11 of them in swimming, with Charlotte Gower of City of Coventry responsible for seven. She claimed gold in the 200m individual medley and the 100m and 200m backstroke, added silver in the 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle, and earned bronze in the 200m freestyle. Charlotte also teamed up with her fellow swimmers to win silver in the Women’s 4×100m medley relay. Charlotte also had the amazing experience of being the flagbearer for Team GB.



Ellie Graham
Ellie Graham and her teammates Mia Wiseman, Charlotte Gower and Katy Wun on their record breaking time in Tokyo at the Deaflympics… The Women’s 4x100m freestyle relay team broke the National Record! The team with help from Lucy and Nicola went on to make the final and stormed to the end to take home silver. All 6 girls earned a silver medal for their relay performances.
